Cpl. Matt Beckman, Chisago County Sheriff’s Department, Patrol Operations, Certified Use of Force and Firearms Instructor. 

Matt has been a peace officer in the State of
Minnesota since 1996 serving in the capacity of a
patrol deputy; S.W.A.T. team operator; and instructor
specializing in the areas of defensive tactics,
firearms, and tactical operations.  Matt is currently
serving with the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office where
he is assigned to the patrol division; he is also the
agency’s primary firearms/use of force instructor as
well as the team leader for the county’s S.W.A.T.
team.

Matt has received extensive training and experience in
law enforcement patrol, and tactical team operations.
He provides instructional training to law enforcement
officers, security officers, military personal, and
private citizens in the aspect of firearms, use of
force, patrol operations, tactical team operations,
and legal liabilities.
