Mike has been a Licensed Peace Officer in the State of Minnesota for nineteen years and attained the Rank of Sergeant in the St. Paul Police Department. Mike has been a Police Trainer for the last sixteen years and was the Lead Use of Force Trainer for the St. Paul Police Department for four years. Mike was named the 1998 S.O.T.A. Tactical Officer of the Year in the State of Minnesota and was the lead sniper and trainer for the Department’s Tactical Unit. Mike is now with a Minnesota State Law Enforcement Agency and is currently the Team Leader for the BCA Tactical Team. He has his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Metro State University, and a Master of Arts Degree in Police Leadership and Education from the University of St. Thomas.
Mike has extensive training and instructional experience in Drug Enforcement, Use of Force, Firearms, Legal Liabilities and Tactical Team Operations and has received specialized training from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and numerous Federal and State Law Enforcement Training programs around the country in numerous areas of Law Enforcement and Training.
Mike currently provides consulting services for organizations concerning police and security issues in the State of Minnesota. |
